So the Aux connector you linked allows for 6.5mm, and that means I need to fit both wires into that. So I guess that means I need to get the L-2B2AT 3.2mm cable at the link provided? Then the RCA connectors you provided are 6mm, which seems like a lot of wiggle room once the 3.2mm wire is inserted. In your video there doesn't seem to be any space with the RCA connector you used. I'm worried the extra space would cause failure down the line. How would you suggest dealing with the extra 2mm+ of space the smaller diameter creates with the RCA connects provided in your link? (I' m looking at the aliexpress links as the amazon links provided do not apply to my country. I'm sure I could figure out a way myself, but I would love the advice of a professional. PS: great video, everything else was super clear to me. I make my own RCA cables already, just never tried doing it with AUX, but I'm tired of the unshielded portion always causing static when I use poorly designed ones I have bought in the past. It's super distracting.

While the recording seems to sound decidedly lo-fi it seems the Audio Pro did best, followed by the mostly neutral-ish oem sats. The rest would need some heavy eq to hammer the tonality into shape. Maybe you can snag a xref20 mic from your compatriots, it used to sell for like 49€ back in the day when I got mine 😎

This is a VERY common issue on Z10s. I had three pairs with the same issue. This happens because they get too hot inside and the driver is too close to the heatsink. Btw I repaired them with Clear LATEX and put it on the entire surround, glue is too stiff. Best thing would be to just re-foam them, but latex works just fine and I still run a pair of them repaired like that for 3 years already without issues

How are you wiring the 4 speakers? And does top mounting or rear mounting speaker with a mitered baffle make a difference? I like the way the 4 sound it's warmer.

Hey tech screw if you want it to stop making that clicking sound from the sub you have to seal it with a glue gun because a passive radiator makes a clicking sound if it has a air leak

Another very important thing you need to make sure is to center the voice coil if the crack is all around or almost all arround of the whole surround. Also I would use less glue to avoid making the driver stiff.

Thanks! I have replaced two speakers with Dayton Audio PC68-8 2-1/2" Full-Range Poly Cone Drivers from parts-express website ($10 each). I had to put them on 2 bolts instead of original 4 though.
